Our new report draws on original GC research including almost 50 interviews with “opinion formers” across Europe and the US (regulators, policymakers, politicians, think tanks and industry), a citizens’ jury in London, and nationally representative polling in the UK, Germany and the US. It includes insights into current familiarity and attitudes towards generative AI (unpicking differences between certain use cases and sectors), and the implications that this will have for specific regulatory initiatives.
